ICENET WIRELESS FIELD TECHNICIAN

 

This is a contract position.

The Field Technician will primarily have to install, service and maintain Customer Premise equipment of the services offered by IceNet Wireless and ensure customer services are up and running without any issues. Maintain devices in telecommunications towers.

Job duties:

• Install, remove, repair Customer Premise Equipment and ensure IceNet customer is connected for given work orders.

• Install and remove wireless telecom devices and cabling in towers.

• Share pictures and documentation for each work, for Network team’s approval.

• Should be comfortable to climb on ladders.

• Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.

• Assist in the erection and removal of telecommunication poles, towers and associated support structures.

• Ability to travel around 200+ km as needed.

• Have a truck or car that can carry ladder, supplies and tools for the installations and service tasks. 

Skills:

• Ability to learn new tools and technology.

• Physically able to climb on ladders while carrying the network devices.

• Run cabling inside homes and towers from and to the network devices.

• Interpersonal team communication.
